The DreamStation’s humidification capabilities are flexible as it is featured with an intelligent humidity control system that allows users to set the device to what works best for them. COMPLETE CONTROL

The DreamStation Heated Humidifier is equipped with 5 different levels of humidification similar to that of the Heated Tube. By adjusting the desired level of humidification, you can control your apnea therapy and thereby get rid of a fixed humidity level that sometimes becomes unbearable or isn’t required at all. Moreover, the Philips Respironics DreamStation lets you turn it off by adjusting the humidity level to zero; thereby accessing you complete control of the humidity for your CPAP therapy.

DUAL MODES

You will find two humidification modes in the DreamStation Heated Humidifier – Fixed and Adaptive. The device automatically switches to heated tube humidification when you attach a heated tube to the device. The Adaptive mode adjusts to the surrounding temperature in the room and outside to deliver an optimum humidity while reducing the chances of condensation. For patients who prefer a pre-defined setting, the humidifier can be set to the Fixed mode that applies constant heat on the humidifier heated plate.

UNIQUE DRY BOX TECHNOLOGY

The Dry Box technology is a unique feature of the Respironics DreamStation range of devices. It collects excess water in the humidifier and doesn’t let it reach the machine. There is a one way valve that protects itself exiting into the machine.

The Philips Respironics DreamStation Heated Tube Humidifier is compatible only with the DreamStation machines and works well with the PR System One Heated Tube. It is not compatible with any other Respironics machine (RemStar series, System One REMStar machines, or even Legacy series)
